A Peek Under the Hood

This year’s base-model Nautilus features a two-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 250 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque, achieving 29 MPG on the highway. The luxury SUV’s base-model Nautilus Premier comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the Reserve and Black Label hybrid trims upgrade to an eight-speed continuously variable transmission with Power Split Electric, providing a smooth ride by combining the power of a gas engine with an electric motor.

The Nautilus is equipped with an independent MacPherson strut suspension that includes a stabilizer bar, coil springs, hydro lower-control-arm bushings, and twin-tube gas-pressurized hydraulic shocks. The rear suspension features a short-long-arm design with semi-trailing lateral arms, a stabilizer bar, coil springs, subframe-isolated bushings, and mono-tube gas-pressurized hydraulic shocks. Together, these components deliver a smooth, well-controlled ride with excellent shock absorption and noise reduction. This year’s model also includes four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and the AdvanceTrac Roll Stability Control system.

A Look Inside the Cabin

The Lincoln Nautilus seats five, with a three-person bench in the rear. With all the seats in use, the Nautilus boasts 36.4 cubic feet of cargo space, which expands to 71.3 cubic feet when the rear bench is folded down. Lincoln’s included EasyFold seat-back feature makes folding the rear bench easy. The base model includes heated and ventilated front seats as a standard feature, with optional heating functions available for the rear outboard seats.

All 2024 Nautilus models are manufactured with Lincoln’s Soft-Touch seat trimming for added comfort on long road trips. Each cabin is equipped with Active Noise Control, acoustic-laminated glass on the windshield and front windows, and the Lincoln Embrace program, which greets you with flashing LED exterior lighting and a projected welcome mat when you approach your Nautilus.

Nautilus’s Convenience Features

The base-model Nautilus includes Lincoln Drive Modes to handle various terrains. These modes include Conserve for maximized efficiency, Excite for a more responsive drive, Slippery for optimized shifting and decreased throttle response, and Deep Conditions for effortless driving through deep snow or mud.

This year’s Nautilus is the first Lincoln to feature the new Lincoln Digital Experience, with a large panoramic display screen and an 11.1-inch center-stack screen. These screens allow integration with your Google account for onboard navigation, hands-free Google Assistant, and access to all your favorite Google Play applications. The base trim includes a ten-speaker premium audio system with a subwoofer, but you can opt for the available 14-speaker Revel audio system for even better sound.
