18th Annual Holiday Giving Tree

November 28th-December 18th, 2025

November 28th-December 18th, 2025: Happy holidays from our families to yours! For the past 18 years we've donated to different local schools and organizations to help put a smile on the faces of our local kids in need.

This year, we adopted families throughout Oneida and Herkimer Counties through The Neighborhood Center. We proudly were able to donate 470 gifts for our local families, as well as an additional 150+ for families in Amsterdam and Gloversville.

This wonderful non-profit organization helps support a number of family and children services throughout Oneida and Herkimer Counties.

Thank you so much to everyone who continued to spread joy and make the holidays a little brighter for our community members in need!

13th Annual Steet Ponte Auto Group Thanksgiving Food Drive

November 4th-November 25th, 2025

November 4th-November 25th, 2025: The Steet Ponte Auto Group & United Auto Sales of Utica held our 13th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit Feed our Vets in Utica, along with Fulton County Veterans and the Vet to Vet Food Pantries, collecting a record breaking 4,000 items helping local Veterans and their families this holiday season. Giving back is at the heart of what we do, and we’re grateful to help make a difference, especially during the holiday season.

"My brother and I started the food drive as a way to give back to our community during the Thanksgiving season. It has grown immensely, from our first year of filling up one vehicle, to now over 2,000 items being donated in 10 vehicles! These organizations do so much to revitalize the area and help our community members in need; we are so happy we could help in this way,'' Carly Steet Mathias stated.

8th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive

October 1st-November 3rd, 2025

October 1st-November 3rd, 2025: We’re thrilled to share the heartwarming success of our 8th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive! Thanks to the generosity of our customers, employees, and community, between all 8 of our stores, we broke another record this year by collecting an incredible 1,425 items of winter outerwear to help keep local children warm all winter long. Our donations went to Utica, Rome, Herkimer, Frankfort, CVA, Mayfield and Gloversville Elementary Schools!

"We started this Coat Drive in response to our now, 18th annual Holiday Toy Drive. Year after year, we were getting overwhelming requests for winter coats and snow pants instead of toys. Finally, in 2018, we decided to create the Coats for Kids Coat Drive, so our local children in need are ready for the winter weather. Our children completely took this and ran with it, in 2022, we donated 675 articles of winter clothes, in 2023, over 900, and in 2024 over 1,000!'' Joe Steet Sr. stated.
